Texas Summer Classic - 99 boys

Anyone playing in this tournament?

well this tournament decided to mix the 99's with lower level 98's which was a good challenge for the 99's except 1 (Ayses Black) who went 0-3 with no goals scored and 21 against in bracket, now liverpool america did well being in a bracket with 3 other 98 teams they went 0-1-2 and scored 3 with 6 against never being blown out good job and look out D3 this season, FCD Red also did well going 0-1-2 with 1 goal and 6 against but only losing to Ayses Gold 99 and very good 99 team 1-0,Ayses gold went 1-2 scoring 3 and 4 against,then there is DT "top 5" who whooped up on Ayses Black(but so did everybody else) but then lost 4-0 to a PPL now D3 tomohawks team and then lost to a very good but crippled D2 United 99 team 2-0(should have been 3-0) United is in the semi's so good luck to them!

Clearly United was the class of the 99s in this tournament; Was DT missing some players?

nope! the DT coach has boldly been saying they are a "top 5" team and has his parents convinced even before the season started but it seems to me like you should at least be able to beat a D2 team first before you can start saying your a "top 5" D1 team

oh and United was missing one of their best players and only had like 2 subs so if anybody they were missing players

Apparently, it is DT that's missing something? Or should I say someone? The same key element that Comets were missing last year?

congrats to United for playing up and doing so well they should do very well this season so good luck to them!

The 98 team United lost to (Tomahawks) won the division easily, so United probably second best team in the division.

it was United 99 good sir and yes i think with their full squad they could have won it all!
