What did everyone think about the refereeing this weekend?

I thought it was generally good in the games I saw. It was some of the tightest refereeing I have seen in a while. It took a little getting used to especially in our first game there was no tolerance for pushing, pulling and hacking which makes a change...

From the games I watched, I thought it was consistent but they let them play more. Saw some very agressive tackles, ( that were clean) but would have probably been called at the younger ages because after the defender got the ball the man went flying. Thought it was good overall and did not change the outcome of any games I watched.

I thought the refereeing was tight and fair. Not many missed calls and certainly no blatantly missed calls. There also appeared to be a ZERO tolerance policy for heckling the ref or protesting calls. One coach almost got kicked out. My son said that coach was cussing at the ref. No

One coach or assistant coach was sent off. Not sure which he was. Was told he pushed a ref. And I could clearly hear "YOU SUCK" from the other side of the field.

But I thought the refereeing was good. If there were complaints, it was from both sides of the ball equally.
