Hazing (Traditions in NTX High School soccer ?)

This article had me wondering how the High Schools over there handle these types of issues. I know in NW LA, several of the local high schools allow the Seniors to shave the heads of new Varsity members into some crazy designs but the Underclassmen can opt out with the knowledge that only those getting their heads shaved (shavee's) have the opportunity to shave heads as seniors (shaver's). I know it seems silly but the boys really wear their haircuts as badges of honor.
Obviously the team in the article is just plain twisted and sick and those boys (and coach) need therapy and punishment. Thoughts just curious

I think schools would have to be out of their minds to condone any hazing in this day and age. I also think the coach could easily stop these things by telling kids that if they do these things they are off the team. You would be surprised at how quickly these " traditions" will die....
