So a 6th or 7th place team in EAL is playing in the Dallas Supercopa maybe
FC Dallas Gomez, Dallas Texans Gall or Rosales should play. Odyssey should be a weaker team without their players unless they fill with Guest players. To represent Texas..the most competitive teams need to play. Can't argue with statistics.

They are in so NTX has a competitive team in the bronze division

Since EAL is having standings problems I decided to help them out. Here is complete Gold standings.

1. Odyssey 9 wins and 1 tie --- 28 points
2. DT Pomykal 7 wins, 2 ties and 1 loss --- 23 points
3. FC Dallas Gomez 6 wins, 3 tie and 1 loss --- 21 points
4. DT Gall 5 wins, 3 ties, and 2 losses --- 18 points
5. Solar Chelsea Farley 4 wins, 2 ties, and 4 losses --- 14 points
6. Liverpool RASE 4 wins, 1 tie, and 5 losses ---13 points
7. Solar Chelsea Tarrant 2 wins, 2 ties, and 6 losses --- 8 points
8. Solar Partain 2 wins, 2 ties and 6 losses --- 8 points

Solar Dynamo 05's lost its last game 4-1 Odyssey...Was 1-1 at halftime...We kept our strongest lineup on the field for the first half....Second half we reverted to shifting lines....moving our forwards to the back....midfielders to forwards and so forth....this is part of our development for our players to learn multiple positions....not saying the results would not be the same but our team philosophy is about development and not winning at the moment...Odyssey is a fine team and most athletic team we faced all season but we gave them a battle. Was a good season at EAL....Wish the fields were in better shape there though....especially field 3 which is half dirt...also SDL fields were in bad form as well....best pitch has to be McInnish....

Hard to believe

Final regular season rankings, now it is onto tournaments and then to U10 and bigger fields and more players

1. Solar Red/Odyssey (SDL 03) with these two teams sharing their best players and the success they had in EAL and SDL I am ending them at first place together
3. DT Pomykal (EAL and SDL 03) Beat who they should beat, lost to Odyssey and tied a couple games {Texans Gall and FC Dallas Gomez}
4. FC Dallas Gomez (EAL and SDL) Only team to tie Odyssey
5. DT Academy Rosales (SDL) team had a good season, but similar to SR and Odyssey in that they share best players with other teams
6. Texans South (EAL) Played the Gold teams they played tough and easily handled the silver teams in EAL
7. DT Gall (EAL) Had some very good results in EAL
8. Solar Chelsea Farley (EAL and SDL 03) lost many close games
9. Liverpool RASE (EAL) Very inconsistent this year, losing to Solar Chelsea Tarrant by 3 goals and beating FC Dallas Gomez early in the year
10. FC Dallas South (Arlington 03) will see if they play in any tournaments against top teams

Just outside the top 10 (in order): Texans FW, Solar Chelsea Tarrant, Chivas USA, FC Arlington, Rayos, Solar Partain, TFC, FC Dallas Mansfield, Bandits

DT Pomykal playing in Carey Invitational against 03 teams. The competition is pretty weak as all the good 03 teams are playing in other tournaments this weekend. I think they will beat DT Lopez in the finals.

Solar Partain over Solar Farley in Finals

Only one team playing this week in a tournament from the top 10. Liverpool RASE is playing up in the legends invitational and playing in the silver division of U10. Will be fun to watch to see how they do playing with 11 on the field against older teams.


Next weekend AFC Tournament has four teams {#1 Odyssey, #4 FC Dallas Gomez, #5 DT Academy Rosales, #8 Solar Chelsea Farley} in the top 10 and several other strong teams [Rayos and Texans FW]

Looking at the results from last weekend in the legends invitational it looks like two 04 Liverpool teams held their own against 03 Silver teams both making it to the semifinals.

Will be back later in the week to give predictions for the AFC Tournament. It looks like Solar Red may be playing in the primetime tournament this weekend. Can never tell for sure if that is 04 Solar Red or 03 Solar Red.

I think the Nomads coach said he would win this tournament without even playing in it.

I'm not convinced that's the coach. He speaks like a parent.

He is providing some great entertainment

I just looked at scores for Aces and it says odyssey lost 7 to 1 to Texans FW. Can that score be true?

Score is correct

Odyssey looked to be missing all of their big guns. Didn't even recognize the team they put on the field.

In regards to primetime tourney. Solar did not make it out of first round.

I don't think Odyssey has the "big guns" anymore. They are on SR permanently now. They will probably look a lot different.
