DT Fall Festival: red brackets rescheduled!!!

TOURNAMENT UPDATE

Tuesday December 3, 2013

Because the following brackets: U13 Boys Red, U14 Boys Red, U15 Boys Red and U16 Boys Red are Dallas Cup XXXV qualifying brackets they will be rescheduled to play on the weekend of December 13 - 15, 2013.

The updated schedule will be posted by Friday December 6

I wonder if the same teams will partecipate. Will the Illinois team come back? Or the Arkansas Comets?
What about the Mana team that having won the Bobby Rhine Invitational is already qualified for the Dallas Cup?

Mana was not in the Fall Fest. Houstonians and Gunners were the two teams from South Texas. Gunners won Bobby Rhine last year.

I dug through the site for the DT games and see that our age now has 3 brackets now and not 4. looks like this is the teams still playing. Noticed Comets and Houstonians are only out of town teams to still be in.

I assume that these are the brackets now.

So four teams are not coming back: FC Dallas Youth, Gunners (STX), and the Illinois team. Can't remember the 4th team. All games are played at the Ross Stewart fields.

D1 Chivas is the fourth team.

Just saw the 01 thread and thought it is interesting to have a conflict between CL's first week and the rescheduled weekend (1/31 - 2/2). How many of the local teams are still going to play in the reschedule now?

What! U14 teams are playing at 2 pm on Saturday for CL. So the DT Fall Festival organizers will have to work around that. Or better, CL should reschedule some of the games ...

Interesting issue. I am sure that DT and CL are working on this issue. The community is too small not to have these two organizations talking.

wore this discussion out on 01 thread but all u14 classic games are at 2pm so it is easy for DTSC to schedule games around these. with hometown teams playing a friday evening game they will only play 3 total games on saturday just as visiting teams must do in EVERY tournament. no big deal
