Not too difficult to figure out; You claim you play for the Texans, yet you wonder why DTS or DTR aren't playing in it? We big Omega fans wonder ourselves...

To clear up the confusion, DT Mansfield-Tarrant County (Rodriguez) is playing in the Puma Cup and not DTS (Hernandez).

DT Craft is seeded #1 going into qualifying. They have no where to go but down if they play in the tournament. If they win then everyone says they should have won. If they lose there comes the questions of whether they should be seeded #1. Even if they did win the tournament, it would be a "no win" situation for the team. I have seen this year after year as teams enter Classic (boys and girls). If they are smart the top seed never plays in a tournament betweenMemorial Day and QT.
The way it goes.

Would you expect any different from the Texans. Who cares if they are seeded 1 or 10, you would think the only thing that matters is where they end up after the season. But the Texan ego could not possibly handle a lower seeding to begin with. It will make it that much more enjoyable watching them go down.

While all that sounds good in theory, the reality is the coach is in Europe and will be over the week-end.
Besides, don't you all have tickets to Sunday's Gold Cup - sorry you will have to miss it.

Rather watch my kid play on Sunday over Gold Cup or anything else for that matter.
Texasn have a zillion coaches, nobody can fill in. Certainly they have much better than Craft.

I thought you kept up with this stuff - he has four of the players with him. It would be tough to play in this heat with 12. None of the Texans(Dallas Division) are playing - not just Craft's team.

Playing with 12 in this heat should be a piece of cake for any Texan team, and certainly they could win everything with just a parent coaching.

AXX why do you have such a hating for the Texans. Did your BB try out and get cut? This is competitive soccer not rec. Obviously you have never been through the QT becasue if you did you would realize that this QT is the most important for the team for years to come. If they QT for the top 20 teams, it exempts them from having to go through QT's again for at least another 3 years. After going through QT with my older child the last 3 years in a row, you find out that qualifying on the first time is so valuable. Why would you want to risk that in any case for one insignificant weekend of soccer when your coach and 4 players are out of town?

ON THE RIGHT-I heard Craft was a pretty good coach.

Why cant we pump up our own teams and not bad mouth all the others.

Arse; Wrong on both accounts, have been through QT and have never tried out for any Texans. Either 94 or 99. Don't hate any team, just dislike the arrogance of the 99 Texans, that's all. And I don't know anything about Craft, other than I've heard he's so so and the team is divided on that issue.

Met a couple of sets of the parents and they seemed pretty nice yo me. There is no way that you are going to get an entire team of nice parents in D1. That is why teams always change year after year. Break up, fold, vhange teams. etc.
