Money, yes, you are correct. And that tale is completely opposite from Hyndman who had a spoon in his mouth from birth. Lot's of doors opened for him just because of who he is.

McKennie was just waiting on that 18th birthday to finalize with Schalke. Great news regarding talented kids from our own backyard. Local kids, and US, kids getting recognized on these big stages are a step in the right direction.

Not sure if this is tongue in cheek but if not, you should have a word.

Hyndman didn't have doors opened for him because who his Grandfather is, not one Europeeeean club gives a rats about who he was related to. Hyndman had doors opened for him at a younger age because he had a Europeeeean passport. Full stop.

It's great news for Weston. Now the real challenge starts. One thing to keep n mind is that his original coaches form Germany never stopped looking out for him and were always giving him advice.

But if you read the original article, it does say he signed and will play with the U19s. Finish1 did not make the distinction, but the press release did. German was more right than not.

He signed with Schalke 04 but is not on the first team that plays in the Bundesliga. It is a first step towards playing in the Bundesliga and he will further develop on Schalke 04's U19 group as he makes his way towards a first team game.

To be completely correct he plays on the U19 Bundesliga team. In Germany you have 3 regions at U19 called Bundesliga. At the end of the year the top 4 play for the championship. Weston stays at their residency and is having a fabulous time. He will relearn German fast and without any injuries I would expect him to be pulled up to the U23 team during this upcoming year. Schalke plays in the Bundesliga West and is leading the table after 4 rounds.

so Weston is a professional soccer player in Germany that's my main question and to me even that is way higher than being a pro player on an MLS team and in this case FC Dallas it like a totem pole and Shalke is like here
