the answer to every question asked is" that's a great question, unfortunately I don't have the answer for that" no info given out to date regarding cost.
This seems to have been quickly thrown together with no real plan.

It is going really well. In case facts actually matter, this was awarded several months ago and a lot of work and energy has gone into to insure it is a success. U.S. Club got it right with ECNL and of course a club that has DA will tout DA as the best; to me is it two different leagues, both good and both will provide a great experience. I am hearing well over 250 players for the id clinics and all teams are formed or finalizing rosters and schedule is set. Should be a great year and exciting to be a part of such a great program.

Depends on the age group. Some have a lot of interest. Some are struggling to get enough.

Re: Any updates on how the LP Boys ECNL experiment is going?
I can only speak for the U17s. What I saw was a group of very capable players that looked like they hadn't played together for any amount of time. The U17 ECNL team is made up of dual rostered kids from all over (including Austin, San Angelo, etc). They have not practiced as a full team and it showed. Fortunately, the scores weren't indicative of level of play. The effort was there in both matches and all of the goals were given up in a very short span of time in each. I could be wrong, but I believe the other teams were solely ECNL teams and have been practicing together for a few months. Regardless (at least in my opinion), the U17s have something to work with and I hope they continue to improve. It will be challenging, but the kids seemed to get more comfortable as they played together. I expect better results in the future. We have a great coach and the boys seem to really like playing and traveling together. Keeping my fingers crossed.
