Fall Season
we are 3 weeks into this season. Any suprises seen from any of the teams?
Cruz Azul was a surprise when we played them. That is a good solid team with good ball movement. Their center defender is extremely smart. I think clearly they are in the wrong division of SDL.

Re: Fall Season
Surprises: Well...I was kind of surprised to see a parent in the stands with a bullhorn shouting instructions to his son yesterday. I guess their coach doesn't have the "if you bring a bullhorn to the game, it will be considered a suppository" rule that our coach has.
We've had some weird SDL results. I don't know if its indicative of anything other than that a few players missing here/there can really swing a scoreline at this age.
Deportivo Chivas in PTS is a good '04/'03 team.

Re: Fall Season
I agree with you I have seen the chivas play a few games and they are very skillful bunch. They are also playing in OC-Rec. They will be a team that will take notice of other teams
We played DTS yesterday. A very good game that went back and forth. We lost 3-2. The only difference was a goal that deflected into our goal off one our defenders foot or else it would had been a tie.

@ the bull horn. i would have probably gone over there and used it as a suppository. how can the other parents on the team stand that? it would drive me insane.
