Shortened fall season?

I heard a rumor this weekend that one or more of the leagues is contemplating cutting the number of matches in the fall season due to so many fields being closed due to rain? Anyone know if there any truth to that? In our case we signed up to play a full CL slate, and expect that that will happen. I hope there will be a major outcry from parents if any of the leagues try to cut the schedules.

Haven't heard that exact rumor, but I do now there has been some discussion of adding games to the Spring schedule that couldn't be played during the Fall Season. I'm sure every team will get their full CL season in, it just may be not be completed until the Spring.

I think I saw that we are forecasted to get rain on Wednesday and Thursday and even if it doesn't rain, PHP will be closed.

Both...I wouldn't place any bets that PHP opens this weekend if it rains midweek! Shortened fall season? Icon_rolleyes

Dallas Cup selection is done in Decamber for the u13 and older groups the fall session must end in November.

Very little sarcasm, don't see why they didn't play this past weekend.
