What 97b teams are playing in this tournament??

TFC 97B Blue registered yesterday.

ETX Premier-SC (formerly FC Galaxy) will be registering.

Dallas Texans '97 South will be playing

I agree...Good quality teams; it'll be interesting...My sleeper pick is Tyler Shock; they're pretty solid.

Agree with most of your predictions here except I see Solar Gold coming out of Bracket D, and DTRW in Bracket C. I think TFC Blue will win a close one against FWFC in the final.

A- could go to hurst or fwfc, not sure...
B- TFC...
C- DTRW... Got my fingers crossed...
D- FCD Silver... always a tough team...

I went to watch that ETX Premier-SC team last night play a "friendly" against a U17 boys Classic League team from ETX; they're (ETX Premier) is pretty strong. Technically/tactically gifted all around team. They are not your typical "long-ball" team from ETX.

I would say TFC is still the team to beat in this tournament....

Anyone have predictions for U13 all brackets? I'm not familiar with a couple of the teams.

By looking at the GotSoccer roster, FWFC is not the FWFC of old. Looks like only a couple of repeat players. Appears that a majority of that team has moved on. Therefore, they may or may not be a contender. Guess we will find out in a couple of days how all involved teams did in the off season.

ETX Premier is a legit D1 level team. They beat Solar Red (ranked #1 in NTX) in the Pumas Cup just last month.

Oh yeah, they won the tournament.

And that was missing some key players.

I haven't seen Tyler Shock play in the last year. But based on history they are a very long shot to be a contender.

I know rankings are very unreliable, especially for tournament play. Not to mention it is very difficult for indy teams to break the top 10 due to not earning 'points' for league play.

I'm biased, but I think ETX Premier will soon prove that they are a "d1 CL" caliber team.

Disclosure: My son (actually a 98) recently signed with this team. Along with 2 other strong 'import' players.

They are definitely a possession team.

Don't count them out...

No disrespect to the other teams. Haven't seen most of them play.

Just saying that, on paper at least, ETP is a legitimate contender.
