Looks like they are getting posted pretty quickly on the tourney site. Looks like a lot of blowouts in the first round of games, but I guess that is to be expected.

Looks like Real Estudiantil are the surprise package. Seeded 53 but beat 5th seed Liverpool fagen 1-0 and 25th seed Andro Pope 3-1. Looking good for a top 2 finish and maybe 1st in the bracket.

The only team that has qualified is Dallas Texans South. All games have to be played first and an invitation has to be extended by the U11 commissioner.

With all due respect, I understand your point that an invitation has to be extended, but my analysis was purely statistic driven. Solar Chelsea cannot be caught in their group and is guaranteed to finish 1st. They have 20 points and both 2nd and 3rd place teams have 9 points. Solar Chelsea will be eligible for an invitation from the Classic League U11 Commissioner. Whether that invitation is extended will depend on the U11 Commissioner.

So did DT south already get an invite but not Solar? I don't get it.

It was a hot but enjoyable weekend of soccer. Looks like the majority of so called top teams took care of business. A couple of surprises this weekend Liverpool Rush and Liverpool Gerrard didn't win their bracket. Good luck to them next weekend. Very impressed with Solar Chelsea's play. They blew out the competition. It will be a very interesting upcoming season. Good luck to all the teams who play next weekend.

yep, that's what great about QT. you gotta win on the field. every year some team believes their press clippings and pencils themselves in for the bracket win and gets beat. congrats to real estudiantil but a word of warning careful what you wish for, you just might get it. now they have to play all the top teams week after week.....
