Not surprised. They did not even look at a forward that was better than anything I saw at the few practices I saw. He made the pool and then they would not even put him in a scrimmage at forward. They did the same with keepers too. Must have selected them on reputation as they did no work at all with them.

this is why you must have "scouts" pick and choose the talent not coaches that should take out the politics and favortism but of course some people can figure/$$$ their way around that as well Laughing

The texas team going to NC was a group who were willing and who could afford to go, not the best group. The results were about as ecpected. After putting a group together of the top players NOT going, they had a brief scrimmage that the group not going easily won. At the next scrimmage they made sure they put the top offensive and defensive players on seperate teams for the scrimmages. ODP really should put a top team together, practice them as a team, and then travel as a team. Subsidising and using a bus could also cut down on the cost.

Using a bus would cause the kids to miss more school?

for many of the kids they could have made the NC trip and back with a bus and made it in time. You can make it from here to most anywhere in the US on a chartered bus within a day
