DTS Hernandez played somebody named Azurri something. They won big. The other people (who had the score of the game they were talking about right at 4-0) were talking about a different game. That's it. Cheers.

Oh ok. Sorry about that. With so many Texan, Solar, Liverpool teams around, it get confusing some times. Seems like a new one is popping up every week! lol

As a few have suggested it looks like I will have my hands full with rankings over the next couple of weeks trying to sort out the player movement, team changes, and sharing of players between teams

1. DT Pomykal (EAL and SDL 03) keeps their top spot with an opening week win against a good LP team
2. Solar Red (SDL 03) two weeks against 03 teams and still no win, still believe they have a great 04 team though
3. Solar Chelsea Farley (EAL and SDL 03) result posted shows an easy win for them this past weekend
4. Odyssey (EAL and Primetime 04) didnt play in EAL this past weekend
5. FC Dallas Gomez (EAL and SDL 04) close game against Solar Partain
6. Liverpool RASE (EAL) no shame in losing to DT Pomykal
7. DT Gall (EAL) no opening week game, moves up by virtue of others losing
8. Texans FW (EAL) win against Solar Tarrant puts them into the top 10
9. Solar Partain (EAL) loss to FC Dallas knocks them down a couple spots
10. Solar Chelsea Tarrant (EAL) loss to Texans FW moves them down a couple spots

Just outside the top 10: DT Manchester, Texans South, TFC, FC Dallas Gold, FC Dallas South, Rayos, OC Venom

Wow the rankings have been out a whole day and not one person has complained about were their team is ranked. Shocker

#1 DT Pomykal vs #5 FC Dallas Gomez - in a rematch from last season when FC Dallas won 3 to 1. This should be a great game. Both teams have firepower and will be a good early test for both teams. I think that Pomykal will prove to be too tough and win 3 to 1.

Other top games
#2 Solar Red vs FC Dallas Copa Waters - I expect Solar Red to get their first win this season and handle this team and win by a goal or two

#3 Solar Chelsea Farley vs #10 Solar Chelsea Tarrant - a good interclub matchup, I expect this game to be very close. I think Solar Farley ends up winning by 1 goal though

#4 Odyssey vs #9 Solar Partain - Odyssey had the first EAL weekend off and Solar Partain played a close game against FC Dallas Gomez. Assuming Odyssey has all their top studs then they win by 2+ goals.

#6 Liverpool RASE vs #7 Texans Gall - a big statement game for both of these teams. LP RASE is still trying to prove they belong in the top team conversation and Texans Gall has quietly become a good team, but hasnt beat anyone in the top 10. I expect this to be a physical game and end up being a tie 2 to 2.

#8 Texans FW vs Solar Dynamo 05 - The 05s proved they can hang with bigger and stronger teams last weekend by taking care of Andromeda. Now they face a team that is bigger and stronger plus has skills. I expect Texans FW to win by 2 goals.

Looks like we get a great weekend of soccer from out bb's. Good luck to all the teams. Lets hope the wind stays down.

We have two very tough games....the one noted and then the first one on Saturday against FC Dallas Gomez...will be a good measuring stick for our boys....just hope it is competitive...

Somone may be able to know for sure, but from what I am heard the FC Dallas Gomez Saturday team is not the same team as Sunday EAL and Sunday EAL is their strongest team. Can anyone confirm?

If sukis BB team beats them (like they did Andromeda) I want to know if it's a win against their A team or B team.

think it was there "A" team....some of our parents knew some of the Gomez's parents and they said it was their "A" team....First half our 05's played very well and the game was tied 1-1 at half....Second half, we made some lineup changes and let a soft goal in the first minute and then our team lost composure...we had our moments but Gomez team is good....final was 8-2...but was proud of our team...we just have to learn to play for 60 minutes, not just 30 mins

I was under the impression that your son is playing with Gomez as a second team.

FC Dallas Gomez SDL is pretty much the same EAL team. They played Solar Dynamo and the score should have been 4-1 at the end of the first half. They pretty much controlled the game. Then second half they started to shoot the ball instead of dribble/passing it into the goal. They woke up and warmed up a little bit in 30 degree weather. But it wasn't a competitive match for FCD.

After 4-1 the FCD coach starting moving players to different positions.

A couple of points if disagreement. For the first 10 mins of game you had us on our heals but for the last twenty mins of first half we outplayed fcd. We too shifted most of our players at half time because our coach is about developing players and not just winning games. But fcd did play much better than us in second half and deserved to win the game.

Does anyone have a list of coaches in the 04 age group that only care about winning games? I see many posts about coaches that care about development, who are the win at all costs coaches?
