Who would you say are the top 10 coaches that actually develop players?
This should of course be regardless of league and division.
With 30 teams in Classic league, 40 in PPL and ? In APL there have to be a few...

I have met / worked with most of them. On balance there are a number of top coaches depending on what you are looking for...the only one i have pulled aside and told to his face that i appreciated the manner in which he teaches the game, and the manner in which he manages the game is Rick Pope (Andro Red in PPL1). I do not have a player on the team and i do not have a kid playing for Andro. I just think he manages the boys well and is a calm and mature presence on the sideline. His boys play the game well...they do not always win, but they play the game...

I enjoyed your comments right back. This question is extremely subjective. The essence of he question is subjective. That is to say, what one considers the definition of "development" or the criteria important for "development" varies as is extremely heterogeneous. We look for an individual who not only teaches our son how to play soccer/futbol, but instills in him characteristics that he can utilize the rest of his life, someone who helps to instill a passion for something and someone he will have memories of the rest of his life. This may sound a little too kum ba ya for some, but is important. We have been pleased with most of the individuals who have influenced our son.
