My son is a 97 and has played for the same U16 division 1 coach in the classic league for two years now and he is thinking of changing teams. Any opinions out there regarding best coaches? Or even coaches to avoid in this division??

First time poster looking to stir a pot?

Also, my question is this.
You have watched 2 years of your son's games in D1 and you can't figure out who can and can't coach?

Not all the best coaches are coaching d1 teams..... There is some very good coaches in the lower divisions too.

Well Mr TexMex it all depends what your son and yourself want. If winning is the most important aspect of his experience then the answer is quite simple. Look for the teams that are at the top of the Classic D1 league and go try out. On the other hand if your son(and you since you are probably spending some $$$) are more interested in developing him as a soccer player then the answer is a bit different. I guess another question I have is why does he want to change teams? Too much bench time?Incompatibility with the coach? Not enough development as a player? None of the above?
