I was rooting for Uruguay but I must say Ghana deserved that game. And I agree with The German, they have to change that rule, Ghana got ripped off.

No rule change needed. Ghana can't complain and did not get ripped off. The ref got the call right and the Ghana player blew it and then others blew it again the the shootout. Teams that can't make PKs deserve to lose.

I gotta go with Rock on this one... the rule seems fair... deny the goal with your hands.. straight red, and on with the pk...

cannot believe he missed that.... I feel so bad for Ghana...

although retribution may come in the form of meeting the Netherlands without Suarez

No rule change is needed. Simply make the penalty kick and the game is over.
I wont take anything away from the Uruguay goalie making two stops though Rule change at WC Icon_cheers .
