What are people doing after XMAS before Dallas Cup and after Dallas Cup in terms of Showcases?

That locks up the first Dallas Cup for TFC.
It also puts them 1 win away from winning premier league.

If AYSES wins there last two games against CDI and FC Dallas Premier they should lock up first alternate for the Dallas Cup finishing 2nd in DI for Dallas Cup qualifying games. Is Premier League placement for next year determined by full year results or first round of 9 games? TFC has done very well beating two very good teams Texans Red and AYSES. There is alot of fun soccer that remains I am hoping AYSES can get the special mojo going with TFC next time. We have not been able to finish strong too many times to count against TFC. TFC really works hard to the time the clock stops and game is called.

Premier league is based on the full season. There has been talk of a super premier league made of the top couple of teams from this season of each premier league region to play each other. As for classic league the spring doesn't matter as long as you finish inside the top 4 teams. Of course every team wants to win the league. What ever that will get you these days? The premier league teams have a tough go in the fall playing double the number of games in a relatively short time. It is almost hard to get good practices in playing sometimes 5 times in 8 days. The local teams still seem to do well compared. Region 3 east has the better teams over all by far in region 3.

You provide the prefect lead in. So what is the point of playing all those Premier League games...with DA, playing far less games, and the best talent??

Look my kids not DA, so no strong biases there. We have this very strange dichotomy with DA pulling the best talent, leaving Premier and the State Cup process as a 2nd tier league. Nothing necessarily wrong, but what's the point of killing the kids with the absurd league/PL fall schedule, then HS ball, then mini-spring, then state cup, etc??

I know DA has great talent but remember there are alot of excellent players who don't go DA track that still play in DI. You can still get good college scouting playing at U17 & U19 on top DI teams.

Another beautiful Sunday for soccer....The wind caused our boys a little trouble - how did the other teams fare?

Caused us trouble to we could not score had plenty of shots just would not go in and CDI keeper did great job along with our keeper.

Looks like we might fall to 3rd place now. We also seem to be hit by alot of injuries this fall with 3 players out now.

Other game was Texans Red vs FC Dallas South.

Looked like Texans and South may have tied, but I would be surprised if that was the case....

Depending on score of FCDallas and Ayses, FCDallas could jump Ayses. Anyone know score?

Not a good day for AYSES 0 to 0 at half then gave up 3 goals in 2nd half to loose 3 to 0. That makes AYSES 2nd alternate for Dallas Cup. Disappointing finish last couple of games.

Next week TFC rematch from 1st game of season.
