What are the thoughts out there on tonight's games?

DTR (3-0 +20GD) vs FCDP (3-0 +13GD)

Andro Red (2-1 +4GD) vs Andro White (3-0 +13GD)

Both games should be very interesting.

Grab your lawn chair and some popcorn -- looks like 3 hours of excellent, nail-biting soccer! Good luck to all four teams.

FCDP over DTR: 3-2
ARed over AWhite: 2-1

FCD will come to win big. I give them +2 over DTR.

Andro vs Andro is a tougher call. I think that one could go either way.

The X-factor - everyone always seems to be a bit off their game when playing at these oddball times.

Both games should be very exciting...

FCD wins convincingly but a little more close than they are use to by 2-0 over Texans.

SolarDrama White wins 3-2 over Andro Red.

Should be fun.

Well if these teams are all ON which makes the diference in the world if one team is and one isn't then it's going to be some good games for all. dtr has always had problems with fcd in the past as well as andro red with solaromeda. but now the teams are stout and stacked. i'll give fcdp the win 3-1 and andro red 2-1. oh! and if you want to see good soccer go watch these teams play eachother tonight.

The "ouch" was on 2 of the first 3 goals...and all 3 were in the first half, which FCD totally dominated. PK with no time left added the 4th goal. But it was a butt kicking nonetheless. They are a very good team. Congrats to them...they are well on their way to their 3rd consecutive "Fall" Classic League Championship. :-)

I totally agree this game was so one sided, FC played a great game and that team is something special very good game. The first to goals wer just nice, but I do believe texans red will regroup and be the great team they have always been.

The worst part for the rest of us is that they defeated an extremely good team in that manner.
I didn't see either game - not sure what I missed...well...cause I missed it.

Next two games for FCD/DTR/Andro W/R will matter quite a bit for Premier/DCup/Classic.
Good Stuff - fun regardless what comes out of it.

What you missed were two very entertaining soccer games with some good soccer. FCD is a very fast, skilled and aggressive team fun to watch. The little Germans comment was and those are 97's? WOW

the andro w&r game was very entertaining and a great game to watch. both teams had the chance to win the game a couple of misses and post bangs for both teams but overall they both deserved to win. the fcd an dtr game was just as exciting and probly should of been 5-1 but the refs missed a goal that actually went in. overall fcd was to much for the texans, they just dominated all game. dtr didn't give up though they fought to the end. it was a great night to watch good soccer between to young teams.

I wish we could have more of those super Wednesdays where just the top teams play and the rest of us comes and enjoys some great soccer.

Man what happened to andro red in this game, watch out for solar red who might get that 2nd or 3rd spot and dtr seems to have shaken off the loss to FCDP and come back with a win.

It's almost sad to see that the top teams have created such an imbalance of parity that 90% of their games are nothing more than a glorified scrimmage. NTX gets what it deserves 2-3 power house teams that basically toy with the opposition.

Is this the reality of high end socccer??

Doubt it.

How would you like to be a parent who pays for premier , pays for travel, spends 2 nights in a hotel. All to see your team trounce the best that OK and STX has to offer 7-0 +.

Plantit is not happy ! These are great questions though. But let first ask, are those really great teams ? Or are those just great local Us teams ? Do we know how they compete against south american or euro teams ?

What I gather is that the Premier League was created to get our best teams going against different and hopefully other competitive teams but the NTX teams are the ones that dominate the PL so it seems to only be benefitting the STX and OK teams who aren't as strong(and probably some travel agency).

I've talked to parents with kids in the Premier League and most of them are really disappointed in it because they say all its doing is wearing the kids out, wasting their money on weekend trips, and wasting everyone's time playing noncompetitive games.

I think you really won't know how great these local teams are until they are challenged and that means going against teams from Europe or S. America which we all know is costly and not within most players means. For now the best barometer for this area to test our top teams is the Dallas Cup.

As far as creating great individual players, we can only do that by getting some of our star players playing with top teams overseas. If you do well outside of the US is how you usually become great. Hopefully one day it won't be like that in the US but for now all we have to offer a talented kid is the hopes of making an MLS team to earn $20-40,000 a year. The sad part is that salary is what you can plan on making on average per week in the EPL!

To become great you have to do great things on an international level and hopefully some of the talent we have here in the states will get the opportunity to go to overseas and shine.
