Has anyone seen each team play? I have seen them all except for TFC.

I predict a very tough, competitive, physical tournament that should be fun for all participants. Good luck to all the boys, may each one play their best this weekend and leave it all out on the field!

OS, I agree Man White is the favorite to win. I like the way both teams play, but I know more players on TFC.

I have seen all play except Aztecas and have friends on Toros but from what I've seen manchester plays the most competitive soccer.

My BB team has played Man White and TFC (3) times in the past season. Based on what I saw in those games TFC appears to be the stronger team.

Toros is an interesting pick. They have one player on that team that is a true difference maker. Don't know if that will be enough in this field. Will be interesting to watch.

Have not seen any of the APL teams or the classic league teams.

Frank, congrats on your U12 season. Of all the Plano/Arlington teams, I'd say you guys make the strongest arguement for being prepared to play Classic next year. TFC dominated the competition and will do well U13. Win this weekend, as predicted, and you're on your way.

Yes, the teams that don't make Classic League go back to their other leagues.

Thanks, finsih1, however I am not with TFC, I just think they are the better team in the tournament.

"IF" you base it on the Carey shouldn't TXL 99 Gold be the favorite? They went 1-1-1 while TFC went 1-0-2, Manchester went 0-3 and FCD Black went 0-2-1

I think it is a toss up and don't think you can pick a clear favorite.

Weagle, are you saying there is no clear favorite between TFC and Man White or no real difference between the teams in the tourney?

I don't think any of the teams can be considered a favorite because they all play in different leagues. The only thing we have to go on is tournament results and it was made clear those results don't count due to guest players and/or players missing because of vacations etc....I say ANY of the teams in this tourney are capable of winning it.

I agree that any team can win any tourney. Look at what happened to the #1 seed in the state cup this year. They were eliminated by the #6 seed. It can happen. I don't believe all the challenge teams are equal and there are favorites. We'll know next week...

You were right that the teams were not equal but it looks like the APL was the much stronger league.

Looks like Manchester got an invite to D3, what are the chances more teams are invited to move up?

Just the chatter I heard in and around the fields this weekend. I'm not sure what team they replaced or if it's even true. If it is, it makes me wonder if there are other teams that may be giving up their bye.
