Not sure what happened to Snell teams but they have lost every game this season.

I agree that based on recent results, I would rate FCD Goncalves as #1 in the 02 age group right now with DTS a close 2nd.

FCD Goncalves beat DTS last fall in SDL league play. At the time, I chalked it up to a fluke plus I heard that DTS was missing something like 4 starters that day. Now they have beaten DTS again in spring league play and also avenged their recent tournament loss against FCD Snell.

I think at the moment they are the best in the 02 age group. DTS is a close second and Solar Red Crushers are a close 3rd. Based on game results, it seems there may be a gap after those 3 teams before you get to the group of FCD Snell, Solar Dynamo, TFC Larry, and others...

For the record, my son doesn't play for FCD Goncalves.

I asked a simple question looking for a simple answer. Your second sentence wasnt needed. If you think they are the top team. Thats your opinion.

The spring and summer time tournaments leading up to QT will determine the top team for the 02 age group.

I think it's a fluid situation since it's academy and players are still moving around. The picture will get clearer in the tournaments after July 1 when players are locked in for the U11 year, but even with the 01's, QT had Solar Red seeded 1st and DT Gall seeded 3rd, but DT Gall has nearly gone undefeated (they stumbled last week to middle-of-the-pack Wizards) and will finish the year-long season in 1st place including a 4-1 win over Solar Red.

I'll assume you're just a smack talker. Since your bb doesn't play for FCD Goncalves and I'm sure you don't play for DTS, I'd say you just like to talk smack about teams that beat yours. Since you know so much about teams you don't participate with, maybe we should also assume your the guy hiding in the bushes and stalking our kids during their games. If not, maybe you could tell that freak to beat it!

Goncalves got a fresh snell team.

Most of the games played can go either way this season. All of the teams in this league can beat each other any day.

Saturday Texans beat Dynamo and Goncalves beat Snell. Next week it can all be the other way around.

My bb does play for Goncalves.

Say what you want to say about Snell but to me Snell's team is the top FCD team. Just because your team wins at U10 it means nothing. Most of the teams in this league play kick ball except for Snell and DTS thats it, everyone else plays to win with kicking the ball out of danger forward or out of bounds. FCDG is a one dimensional team boot the ball forward and hope the forward can make something happened.

maybe FCD-Sn did play a game before, but there's around 30 kids on the team, don't think the extra 15 min playing time matters that much
These games can go either way on any given day, 10 year old players have good days and off ones. FCD-G isn't "hands down top team" as the title of the thread says. I agree with the PP, they are a very one dimensional team, kick it up the field and let a fast ahletic player kick it hard towards the goal...can't really fault them, it works at u10. FCD-Sn and DTS move the ball extremely well & it seems DTS has also many (above average) skilled individual players.

I was just stating my opinion hoping for some interesting debate and discourse. I don't even mind when you call me a stalker; I found it somewhat amusing because of your need to use such extreme hyperbole.

I've seen all these teams play (binoculars come in handy when hiding in the bushes), and yes, these teams have all beaten my son's team. Life goes on even if some anonymous person (me) on a message board thinks your son plays on the 2nd best team in North Texas at the moment. Heck, my son's team is probably only considered the 102nd best team in North Texas by some people, but it's all good. He'll keep training hard and hope someday he can beat the 101st best team.

my bb has actually trained with goncalves and his players are very skilled i actually liked his training as did my bb but since we live in the south we play in the south

I heard some of the players might be going to a texans team. Wonder if it would be dts or the "other super texans team" or if it is all rumors.. In the end they have a good team. Either way as long as te kids are happy that is what matters.
