Actually, Kevin took the 95B Texas Titans team which is mostly comprised of his old Solar Gold 96B team playing up (D3). Jorge Molina is the 96B Texas Titans coach (D1).

Wow. A mid-table 96B Plano team now "competing" in 95B Classic D3. Who came up with this idea? Boy are they in for a long season....

I hate that for the Titans... it makes for a very long season and lots of frustration on everyones part. i sincerely wish them the very best.... but from the looks of it.... I agree.. they are in for a very long season indeed... queen

Yep. We played them in a recent tournament... I didn't realize the team consisted of 96b. Hopefully things will improve for those boys...

cancha... got a question.... how in the heck did Kernow storm beat you 3-0 in the finals of the Dr. Pepper Fair play? did 1/2 your team not show up? That score perplexed me....

Go figure.. But you are correct. Half the team did not show up.. MENTALLY speaking.. I am still not sure what went wrong that day.. but no excuses. We just got beat. Hopefully the outcome is different next time around.

Aswan wrote:Academy has changed everything. Apparently, the system is taking root and will be a permanent institution. Currently, academy competitions are the preeminent showcase opportunities. Only a few venues, mainly Disney and Dallas Cup, can attract a commensurate number of scouting college coaches. Within a few years scouting will be done almost entirely at Academy competitions. Players with college aspirations have already figured this out and are scrambling to get on one of the four existing Dallas area Academy teams. The top four Classic teams from this year will be completely reformulated for next year as a result. Players will soon begin to figure this new system out much earlier and gravitate to the Academy franchise clubs earlier. Talent will become even more concentrated on these four clubs as Classic league becomes viewed as a preparatory league for Academy in the early, pre-16 years and as a recreational league in the latter, post 16 years.

I was gonna pay for my oldest bb to go to college, but after 8 years of paying for soccer in NTX. I couldn't afford to do that...I'm so glad that he got himself an academic scholarship..and I didn't have to spend every day in his classroom yelling directions at him and his teachers. I've had soccer for that Laughing Laughing . Weekends have been awesome. I have always loved to have a place to express my unwanted opinion. Nothing better than to let everyone around me know that I know it all Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Laughing
Yeah, he's not attending the most prestigious soccer school in the nation, but he is playing soccer and loves his life just the way it is....Imagine that.
