1. DT Texans (Formerly DSC - playing in 03 and 04 leagues)
2. Solar Red (playing in both 04 and 03 leagues)
3. Odyssey
4. Andromeda Hiller
5. Liverpool Reina
6. Solar Chelsea Farley (playing in both 04 and 03 leagues)
7. Bandits
8. DT Rosales (playing only in an 03 league)
9. Wizards (playing only in an 03 league)
10. Leite United
11. Texans Manchester
12. Solar Partain
13. Texans South
14. Solar Red Tarrant
15. FCD Gomez
16. FCD Snell
17. FCD South - Tate
18. Mansfield Samba (playing only in an 03 league)
19. Azurri
20. TFC Volkan
Game of the week
Dynamo (#1) vs Solar Red (#2) - what a matchup! I predict that Dynamo will win this one, their depth, superior skills and ability to score from outside the box will be the difference maker. Plus their keeper is a big advantage. Final score Dynamo 5 to 2.
Other games
Odyssey (#3) vs GSSC Thunder - Odyssey gets a cake game for their first Spring game. Odyssey a lot GSSC a little
Andromeda (#4) vs (#6) Solar Farley - good game here as both teams in their second game are looking for their first win. Andromeda forward (size and speed) proves too much for Solar. Andromeda 4 to 1
Liverpool Reina (#5) vs Bandits (#7) - another good game here as LP Reina looks to stay on top of the division. Bandits will prove to be the more aggressive team and eek out a win 3 to 2.
Leite (#10) vs DT Manchester - will be a good barometer for both teams. I believe Leite has enough talent left after the recent defections to pull out a win. 4 to 2.
Wizards and DT Rosales playing random 03 teams in their 03 leagues.
My only prediction is that Solar Farley will continue to be ranked highly given that 4theluvof thegame has an obvious bias with a kid on that team... I do like how he/she occasionally predicts a Farley loss to hide the bias The only thing you have correct... #1 and #2; after that it is any given Sunday.
Too funny - I think those that know me on here know exactly who my BB plays for (sorry to say its not solar, I do have bias towards him as we did try out 6 months ago but didnt make it). If you would like to know feel free to PM me and I can tell you all about our coach, our history with him, the teams we have played for in the past and any other things a loyal fan like yourself would like to know.

Interesting how Odyssey 04's (not recognized)??? Good luck to all :-). We will watch our undefeated team remain undefeated. Take notes... You will have a substantial advantage in the lotto system.

Offsidesdas - I ranked you 3rd. Not sure what more you want, you are a great team, but you havent beaten Solar Red or Dynamo to warrant moving up to top 2 spot.

Anyone have the Solar Red vs Dt Pomykal score (formerly Dynamo)?
Someone sent me the Leite vs DT Manchester score - 5 to 1 Leite.

I just happened to be wondering around a tourney in Tucson last month and was a bit surprised to come across a whole U8 team wearing Solar jerseys at the skills competition. I remember thinking "man, they are really into their U8 soccer". Was Solar Farley. The pieces...they fit.

Latest Power Rankings - a couple things to remember, this is my opinion only, second wins and losses are only a piece of the equation. Who the wins and losses against are much more important (thank you SDXDad for that guidnace). I think we all can agree that there are clearly different tiers of teams and when teams are playing against eachother on a regular basis from the same tier you are going to get REAL soccer scores (3 to 1, 2 to 2, etc vs 7 to 0) as well as more losses vs when a team is predominately playing against teams from lower tiers). Ok ready for people to poke holes and throw up all over it, whine that their team isnt ranked in the right place and some other team is ranked higher than they are. blah blah blah

Yep that is what I was referring to. Agree big picture big picture big picture, but us adults can also have these power rankings as a guilty pleasure.

Exactly? Depending on the lineup for a given game with kids playing other sports, 7-8 yr old sleepovers, total games played from all sports over the weekend, etc., this has a lot to do with wins, win/loss margin etc. A couple of these teams are are very equal. That being said, are you saying a team in the bottom group should be in the top group or will by the end of the season?
While some of you enjoy these and want to see your BB on the top list, if you don't have an older child who has gone through this, I suggest you read the girls site. Teams are different for the 02 age group that is heading into select vs. Where they were at our boys age. Things will get even crazier over the next months I imagine.

Re: 04 Boys Spring 2012
that very well could be the case, there seems to a number of kids moving teams every season, much more so than what I have seen in the older age groups.

w.r.t. confusion: I don't know anything about Solar Farley beyond the fact that I saw them at a tourney in Tucson in Jan. Going to Arizona for a tournament at this age seems like it makes you very into your U8 soccer. 4luvofgame seems very into U8 soccer. Somebody said her bb was on that team. So that seems to fit. No judgments. I just happened to be in Tucson on business with the Pot Kettle Black Corp.

As I actually grew up there, I can second the notion that you would have to be pretty "into" U8 soccer (or any age soccer for that matter) to head there for a tourney
As far as 4TLG, I believe previously stated was that said BB "tried out" for but did not make SF. Clearly still a bias there, though. In fact, I dare say that if they win their next game against the Might Mashers of North Lewisville, they may indeed be our new #1 next week!
By any chance is Pot Kettle Black Corp hiring? I fear I may have stellar qualifications. PM if resume required.
