HS Playoffs

New thread since playoffs are starting (HS Warm-up doesn't seem as applicable now). Thoughts / opinions on 4A or 5A boys playoffs are welcome. Any surprises so far? The main one from yesterday seems to be that Thomas Jefferson was ousted in the first round. Yeah they were a 4th seed but still an upset IMO.

Any interesting matchups later this week in the 5A brackets? Good luck to all!

Still waiting on UIL to complete the 5A Brackets. In Region 1, a quartfinal matchup between Duncanville and FM Marcus would be a great game. I like the chances for Coppell. If they stay on their game and ignore the hype, they should progress to the Regional Finals.

Who has a pick for Region 2?

Looks like they have them all posted now for 5A.

Region 2? The NTX homer in me sez Boyd makes it through but my gut tells me a STX team prevails in Region 2. I'll take Humble Kingwood over Boyd in the regional final...hope I've got that result backwards though!!

It is allowed that boys play with Club and also with the school?

Region 1 action tonight as Coppell takes on Waco Midway at 7:30. Location Mansfield HS. Coppell wins 3-1

Duncanville vs Flower Mound tomorrow night in Bedford. Will pick D-ville 2-1.

Region 2 Jesuit v Rockwall will be a great matchup in Allen tomorrow night at 8 pm. Go see the Freshamn phenom before he gets swep up by DA...

OS, no way FM takes Region 1. Even IF they get past D-ville, they won't get past Marcus. elephant
