Well, then back to Liverpool and the many premier leagues/national leagues that are out there these days. More leagues=more money. Revenue for the leagues and expenses to the parents.

Imagine you're the parent of a starter on Liverpool 99 Boys Hunt coached by Wilco. They finished in 4th place in Classic D1 last year. Does that mean they are in USYSA Region 3 Premier League? If so, in 2013-14 your son is likely playing in Classic D1, Region 3 Premier League, NPL South Central Premier League, ODP?, Others? Sounds like a whole lot of time, travel and expense to me. I'm going to need a bigger salary or a 2nd job if my boys ever reach that level. I'd better get off txsoccer and work on my resume.

If you aren't spending at least $10k a year on soccer you really aren't trying very hard, or more likely you just don't love your kids.

Just so this is not a surprise, Classic League has mandated, by rule, 5 minute water breaks per half for the QT games, clock running. Forecast is 100+ and humid.

Yep. Four 12 minute quarters.

Four 12 minute quarters.....it is like U8 recreational soccer all over again.....only with louder parents and coaches..

I am fine with the water breaks but 5 minutes seems overly long
