99 D1 after 3 Weeks?

Does anyone have the experience of playing a team that subs their players one by one, constantly, to stop the play time?  Today's Comets/Chivas game was frustrating to watch with the Chivas coach subbing his players every minute or two in the second half to interrupt the flow of the game.  Felt like I was watching Italy play.

Solar battles FCD South to a 0-0 tie and Solar Red easily handles CCO 3-0 !!! I still don't see how CCO beat both Solar and Comets Blue ???

FC Dallas has four teams in D1 and Two teams in D2, that's 20% of the teams in Classic are from FC Dallas. So I am not sure how you can say the run such a poor organization. The fact that Coach Suarez keeps the same players to me is a positive as he is looking out for the boys and not trading them in when someone better comes along. Maybe the goal at this age for FC Dallas is not to have one or two super team. I don't know Coach Suarez, however if he is keeping the same boys year in and year out, he can't be that bad of coach.

coach is weak and parents of the players call the shots and didn't want to consolidate

if the parents called the shots; you would have 11 forwards on the field!

Very nice! Hopefully you can keep that up and maybe post it every three weeks or so.

The team that is intriguing to me right now is Solar Crawford. They can't seem to find the back of the net and after 4 games have a goose egg in the win column. Hopefully they turn things around before they find themselves on the outside looking in.

It would have been nice if they(Solar(Crawford) could have played and got an easy W against FCDallas(Blue). It would have helped their confidence. The next three weeks they play Comets(Blue), Force and Gunners and should win at least two of those three. If not they are in big trouble!

it wouldn't have mattered it was just like the dr.pepper tourney! SR's ball control game and combination passing was too much for CCO.

Please, Solar's passing has them in 15th or so place. If the guy is right and CCO had guys sick it would make a big difference. I tend to believe CCO was at a dissadvantage due to some sickness.

ok,ok lets just wait and see where we end up at the end of the season? the rankings mean nothing as of right now,but don't get me wrong though CCO has a very good team just not at the same caliber as SR at this time! no hard feelings I wish you guys well and good luck on the rest of your season!

solar red can play very good soccer. Love to give them a hard time in fun, but it's good to see them back. Now just keep it going.

Solar and Solar RED ARE OVER-RATED and the season will prove that as it already has.........They are too in love with defense. 0-0 is not good soccer!

I agree. I do not know how to factor in "strength of schedule/opponent", my stats are limited to simple cut-n-paste in a spread sheet.

I agree. I do not know how to factor in "strength of schedule/opponent", my stats are limited to simple cut-n-paste in a spread sheet.

If you look at ASG, which has played the current 13, 14, 19, 20 place teams and FC Dallas Blue which has played the current 2, 3, 5, 8 place teams the "stregth of schedule" might have played a large part in both of the teams current standings. We like to kill the BCS standing in college football, however that might help us here or we will just have to wait until the end of the year.

One thing I would agree with involving the early season standings is this: The top 3 and bottom 3 will not change unless there are injuries that make the situations change.

Don't think either team is in love with defense nor do I think that 0-0 is necessarily bad soccer (it's just not always entertaining). Solar does not have the players up front that can score against teams with a solid defense (look at their total goals scored not only this season but in tournies, against any good opponent). Solar Red on the other hand I still can't figure out because they look to have what it takes but haven't put the ball in the net when they needed to. Rumor has it that scheme changes are to blame, but time will certainly tell.

One thing is for sure. Solar(RED) has some talented players that their coach needs to find a way for them to get the ball in the net. They are to good to be putting up zero's. I am not sure of the talent level of Solar(Crawford). Are they as good as Red?
